Irvine, CA – Rutan & Tucker LLP is pleased to announce it has elevated two attorneys to partnership, including Mallorie Schindler in Corporate and Tax, and Sarah Van Buiten in Litigation and Trial. The promotions become effective on January 1, 2025.

Mallorie Schindler’s practice focuses on a variety of corporate matters, including SEC reporting, mergers and acquisitions, securities, corporate finance, corporate governance and general company representation serving clients in a broad range of sectors, including financial services, food and beverage, life sciences and healthcare, private equity, and technology. Mallorie brings a practical, business-minded approach to her practice.
Sarah Van Buiten focuses her practice on unfair competition litigation, including trademark, patent, and copyright infringement, false advertising and trade secret misappropriation. She represents clients in proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, in both inter partes and ex parte proceedings, and handles domain name disputes. Sarah advises and represents clients in managing and protecting their intellectual property rights in a variety of other contexts, including intellectual property
