COSTA MESA, Calif., November 26, 2012 – Lisa Neal, a partner in the Litigation Department of Rutan & Tucker, LLP, one of California’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, has been named to the prestigious Hot 25 list compiled by OC Metro magazine.
Neal serves as the lead attorney for a number of small and large corporations, and has extensive first-chair trial experience in a wide range of matters including breach of contract, fraud and negligence claims, title insurance litigation, class action defense, complex personal injury, insurance product misstatements and insurance bad faith.
In the past 12 months, she has won two hard-fought trials, including one representing global retailer Buy.com of Aliso Viejo. She was named to the 2012 list of Rising Stars in the Southern California edition of Super Lawyers magazine. Neal says her secret to success is effort. “I work really, really hard at what I do. I listen to what my client’s goals are, and then I get it done.”

Neal earned her law degree from the University of Southern California School of Law in 1999, and her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1996. She is the mother of two children and serves on the Board of Trustees of Olive Crest, a leader in the prevention and treatment of child abuse.
